When noting the BRI offering China a chance to integrate with the remaining world, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Shanghai Committee Zhou Hanmin threw out three suggestions on the outlook of Asia-Pacific economic cooperation and the BRI. Firstly, the BRI should integrate with the UN 2030 sustainable development strategy in the hope of engaging with the world economy. Secondly, the BRI should integrate with plans and strategies of other countries and enterprises. Thirdly, the Chinese government should set up a national committee to better help the Chinese enterprises in their investment in foreign countries.

Scholars and Consul Generals also shared their insights on the relevant issues.
